Integrated Hub Shell with Oversized Bearings
To enhance the stiffness and durability of the hub structure, oversized bearings have been positioned more outboard of the hub with labyrinth seal construction. The flange on the drive-side has increased diameter for better rigidity. Combined with a 45T integrated ratchet flywheel and wave spring design, the CRW Ultimo series hub delivers a more direct pedal response and higher transmission efficiency.

Bearing Preload Adjustment
Precision Preload System offsets tolerances and compression from thru-axle clamping. This feature effectively alleviates bearing wear caused by axial pressure resulting from axle deformation.

Premium Bespoke Carbon Fiber Spokes
To reduce rotation weight, the aero carbon spokes have titanium ends that thread into the hub. The width of the super aero carbon spokes has been reduced from before to mitigate crosswind effects.
- Bigger in the Rear
While tire width will no doubt be debated amongst roadies until the end of time, it is generally acknowledged that more air volume in a tire has multiple advantages ranging from being able to run lower tire pressures without the risk of rim damage, but also more stable tire pressures as the tire deforms. Combined with the continuing trend for wider and wider tires on road bikes Craft Racing Works (CRW) listened to feedback and widened the rear rim to better match the front. The internal width of the rear has risen from 21mm up to 24mm with a similar increase in external widths.
